Brocantes are markets for the sale of antique and vintage items including furniture. These are held in the Lot (46), France mainly between June and August.

Vide greniers are like trash and treaure sales, garage sales or boot sales, by village and town inhabitants. By tradition, these are usually held once a year at the same time of the year. August is the best month especially the second half of the month with at least 10 vide greniers per week in the region.
